FFL Transfer Terms & Conditions

The person listed on the packing slip or transfer invoice is the only one able to pick up the firearm. Minors are prohibited from doing FFL Transfers.

It is the customer's responsibility to make sure the shipper sends us an FFL and a bill of sale with purchaser's name and phone number listed. No transfer will be picked up before we receive these items. We are required by law to obtain these items.

If we do not receive the bill of sale and FFL, we charge a $50 RESEARCH FEE. This fee will be paid prior to pickup. All boxes containing items sent to us for transfer will be opened and inspected.

We will hold the firearm in inventory for 10 Days after we contact you with pickup arrangements. If you do not pick up the firearm within that time period, a Required Storage Fee will be assessed for the following days after ($10.00 per day). After 30 Days, the firearm will become legal property of Blotters Guns and no recourse will be due to consumer.

Any firearm arriving with a pistol brace device or the capability to accept a pistol brace will be turned over to the ATF for destruction. This will be done automatically. There will be no recourse since it is unlawful to take into inventory any NFA firearm or devise without proper paperwork SOT.

A shotgun having a barrel or barrels of less than 18 inches in length;

A weapon made from a shotgun if such weapon as modified has an overall length of less than 26 inches or a barrel or barrels of less than 18 inches in length;

A rifle having a barrel or barrels of less than 16 inches in length;
-
A weapon made from a rifle if such weapon as modified has an overall length of less than 26 inches or a barrel or barrels of less than 16 inches in length;

Any other weapon, as defined in subsection (e);

A machine-gun;

Any silencer (as defined in section 921 of title 18, United States Code); and

A destructive device.

*PLEASE NOTE: Purchasing a Gun for someone else, even online is illegal and considered a "Straw Purchase." If you are not the actual transferee/buyer, we cannot transfer the firearm(s) to you under U.S.C. 922(g), (n) or (x).

FFL TRANSFERS that mistakenly show up at our store due to wrong FFL information will be a $100 FEE + Shipping Costs. Customer will have 1 Week to have arrangements to ship firearm(s) out of Blotters Guns. Blotters Guns reserves the right to retain item(s) as permanent inventory if Customer has no arrangements after 12 Business Days.

If a customer sends a firearm to us for transfer and the customer is DENIED on their BCI background check, customer is responsible for SHIPPING to return the firearm to the seller. Additionally, the customer is responsible to arrange shipping by providing the shipping label and any required information. We will NOT ship the firearm back to the seller until we have all information. If customer does not provide required return information and shipping label within 30 days the firearm will become legal property of Blotters Guns and no recourse will be due to consumer.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any FFL Transfer at our discretion or if we feel illegal activity is being conducted. Illegal activity is reported to the ATF & Local Law Enforcement Agency's.
